Our language training programs feature the use of the target language from the very first session to promptly immerse the student. They are highly interactive and may use a combination of methodologies, including presentation, discussion, case studies, skills practice and visual media and can be provided in person or using videoconferencing tools. All of language programs utilize immersion training as the most effective and quickest way to learn a new language. These programs are designed specifically for professionals who need to conduct business in a new language as quickly as possible. Following an initial assessment, the program is focused on the quick development of language skills for general daily use and specific to the learner’s field of business. This program provides an intensive learning experience, immersing the learner in the target language in a stimulating and comprehensive format.
Global Arena’s language training and accent modification programs are based on a curriculum plan that is designed to meet the needs of the student, be responsive to feedback and includes periodic evaluation. Language trainings are highly interactive and may use a combination of methodologies, including presentation, discussion, case studies, skills practice and visual media. The length of sessions is tailored to a student’s availability and needs. Training can be held at the student’s location of choice, including their home or office. Language training programs feature:

Interactivity, guided by directed lessons and conversational elements.
Directed conversation ensures that the student is putting into practice the recently learned vocabulary, structures and new sounds.
Global Arena provides the best customer service and learning experience, ensuring we are attentive to individual needs, carefully matching students with teachers and tailoring programs to fit our students’ learning styles. Global Arena offers flexibility with scheduling to best accommodate a student’s schedule. Global Arena uses the following criteria when selecting teachers:
- Native-speaker fluency in the teaching language
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- The equivalent of two years teaching experience (a minimum of 200 classroom hours)
- Pedagogical knowledge and skills to teach the target language as a foreign language
Global Arena uses progress reports to assess students’ progress in class. Teachers complete initial assessments during the first visit with their students. Mid-program progress reports are completed half-way through their program and a final progress report is submitted by the teacher at the completion of their language training program. Periodic contact is made with the students throughout the language training program. Inquiries are made at different stages of the program in order to ensure the trainee’s satisfaction and learning progress.
We provide students and teachers with specific guidelines for evaluating a training program. Additionally, we have supervisory procedures in place to ensure that the guidelines are implemented and the most optimal learning experience is provided. In case of any issues, the project coordinator and the language training manager are responsible for handling any corrective measures to ensure the student’s satisfaction.
Global Arena has developed its own proprietary project coordination software to manage its training operations. A customer portal is available that provides up-to-the-minute information on the program to trainees, HR managers and counselors responsible for employees and their families. The portal can be accessed here.
Global Arena’s language trainers possess native-level fluency in languages they teach and are selected based on their teaching capability and expertise. Our teachers’ experience and skills, combined with Global Arena’s needs-based training methodology, enable students to use a foreign language from the first class.
